The hotel is located in the northern area of Milan called “Affori”, at approximately 5 km from the Duomo and the Fieramilanocity – both can be easily reached with the public bus system.

The hotel La Residenza is at 11 km distance from the Nuovo Polo Fieristico di Rho-Pero, the new Milan Exhibition location, that can be quickly reached thanks to our proximity to the “tangenziale” the city external ring road. The Galeazzi and Niguarda Hospitals, the San Siro Stadium, The Bovisa University Camp of the Milan Politecnico and the Bicocca University  are also within short distance.

The "Afforti Centro" subway stop (M3 yellow line” is at only 300 m from the hotel and grants you effective transfers to the Central and Garibaldi Stations.

How to reach Hotel La Residenza

By plane:
The "Malpensa Express" train leaves the Milan Malpensa airport every 30 minutes, and takes you to the "Bovisa" railway station within just 35 minutes for only € 9.00. Once there, you can phone 02.4040 for a taxi, which will take you straight to the hotel in a few minutes (there is only a distance of 1.5 km).
From the Linate and Orio al Serio airports, a "Shuttle" bus leaves every 30 minutes for the Milan Central Station, which is the last stop.

By train:
From the Central Station, take the Metropolitan yellow line in direction "Maciachini" and step down on the third and final stop, which is in fact "Maciachini". From here you can take any of these 3 buses: No. 41 (Bovisasca), No. 52 (Comasina) or No. 70 (Bruzzano). Get down on the fifth stop at "Pellegrino Rossi-Baveno", on the corner of Via Vignati. Walk to the end of Via Vignati (about 200 metres) and turn left into Via Vittorio Scialoia: you will see the La Residenza Hotel on the right-hand side of the street, just after the church. The hotel is number 3. The total journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

By car:
- from Venice: take the Highway A4 towards Milan, passing the Milano est barrier and continue on until the exit for Cormano.

- from Genoa: take Highway A7 towards Milan, after reaching the barrier for Milano ovest continue on towards the Tangenziale ovest - Turin, after arriving at the next turnoff continue towards Venice until the exit for Cormano.

- from Bologna: By taking the Highway A1 towards Milan you will reach the barrier of Milan sud, continue on the Tangenziale est towards Venice, after having passed the exit for Cascina gobba take the road on the right, the Tangenziale A52 towards Turin - Como. After having passed the toll booth, stay to the right and continue on towards Turin until reaching the exit for Cormano.

Once having come out at Cormano, follow the directions for central Milan: when you come off the slope, make sure you keep to the left and enter the 3-lane main road, go straight ahead under the overpass, and after about 500 meters take the bridge in the direction of Bruzzano-Affori, turning right towards Affori. Keep going until the end lights, and turn left into Via Astesani. Keep going for about 1 km until you get to Via Pellegrino Rossi, and turn left into Via Vignati after the Shell petrol station. At the end of the short Via Vignati, turn left into Via Vittorio Scialoia where, on the right-hand side of the street just after the church, you will find the La Residenza Hotel. The distance from the Cormano exit to the hotel is about 4 km.

All our 60 rooms (French bed single rooms, twin and queen–size bed double rooms and multiple rooms) are extremely comfortable: creating a welcoming atmosphere, they are simply but stylishly furnished, they are all supplied with air-conditioning, direct telephone line, TV, minibar, safekeeping, hairdryer and private bathroom with either Jacuzzi or shower.

On  the ground floor more rooms are accessible to the disabled.

Feng Shui Suite

The Hotel La Residenza Feng Shui Suite is inspired by the ancient oriental discipline Feng Shui, which is a methodology of harmonizing the dwelling and working environments in order to make people get a psychophysical equilibrium.

In fact, the Suite is made of eco-compatible materials with low environmental impact as low-consumption bulbs, water-saving bathroom fixtures, mineral sanitizing paintings, fabrics in cotton, wool and coconut fibres, furniture in certified wood and bamboo floor. 

Feng Shui

       

The Feng Shui Room is equipped with a futon double bed and a French-size sofa bed, both oriented according the magnetic axis. For a greater re-balance of the person, especially during the night' s rest, the Suite is provided with window frames which guarantee a high performance in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation, special devices for the electromagnetic shielding and  a color-therapy lamp which allows to change the colours according to the wished energetic effect.

The Feng Shui Room can be booked only on request.

At the restaurant of this ecohotel the day starts with a delicious buffet breakfast with its sweet and savoury specialities, with some items from biological agriculture. At dinner guests can taste the typical Italian gastronomy, with some dishes from organic farming and some vegetarian food, accompanied with excellent biological wines.
